looking forward to trying the new asobi seksu, wasnt so keen on the last one but the previous ones, citrus especially, were great.

The last proper studio album I didnt care for, but I LOVED Rewolf, which is an acoustic record. It was first put out as a tour only thing and they ended up releasing it as an album.
The Turtle page is there, but it seems when Bob edited the pics with the garland, he put the Twitter button in its place. Its still the last button for Turtle.

nah i remember reading about rewolf, probably you mentioning it actually, but never got round to listening to it. i think i was kinda put off as the main thing i like about asobi seksu is when they get heavy and have all the cool shoegazey guitars so i wasnt so sure an acoustic lp from them would appeal to me too much. il check it out at somepoint though i guess.

Its just acoustic re-workings of a handful of their tunes w/ a few new bits. I think its the best thing they've done besides Citrus. Really good arrangements. Its basically an unplugged record, its not pure acoustic.

new decemberists is alright, better than the last one anyway.
overall though id say theyve had their peak with picaresque and the crane wife. cant see them ever getting near that standard again.
