I listened to Albert Hammond Jr's debut yesterday after god knows how long. Forgot how much I enjoy it. Should have saved a couple of those tunes for The Strokes.

I am back on a Strokes kick again now. I feel like I cycle through the same bands every so often.
Anyways, great band. 10/10 mini gig here.
I'll say this every time it comes up ... if First Impression of Earth was 10 to 11 songs long it would have been a perfect third album. Same thing happened with Oasis's third album BLOATED TO FUCK.

going thru some isle of wight clips on youtube. playing with fire is very royal blood inspired.  saw the glasto 99 vid in the sidebar and watched this instead.  keyboard players vocals give em that chink of light. dana's solo stuff would be ever so miserable.  |
