I’ve got an idea for a music project where we all submit music/voices to create some kind of corona/isolation art piece
Basically anybody with a musical instrument record some noise, doesn’t have to be very melodic, infact the less melodic the better. Distortion, a few chord changes, some piano, drums, bash some pots and pans whatever you have access to. Don’t worry about quality, if you have nothing to record on you can just use the mic on your phone. Basically so we have a bunch of different soundscapes from as many people as possible
We could also get people to read out news reports from their area/country, lists of events have that been cancelled ect. Do it in whatever language you speak. And I’ll have them fade in and out of each other
Once we all submit our pieces I’ll try to edit and manipulate it into a giant piece.
Could be fun? Shit idea? Could be the greatest achievement since the wintersox album we did
Just thought whilst many will be stuck indoors this is something everyone can knock up real quick, results could be pretty interesting, plus it’d give me something to do
