Sounds like a lost Jesus and Mary Chain track with a slight Ian Brown touch in the vocals, pretty well crafted as always. The keyboard works well against the initial distorted guitar.

It's good Tucker, I instantly heard Just Like Honey with the drums and guitar, but whether it's because I read barny's post first we'll never know. A bit of Daveyboy on backing vocals and this could be a massive hit!

Took me a while to get to this, I really like it! Very VERY late 80s, northern England sounding. Love how the guitar does't play... it just EXPLODES into chords. And I can definitely tell you're putting more effort into selecting the sounds and creating a soundscape, with the piano and a solo that, dare I say, it's almost 'blistering'. Lovely melody as usual, you have a knack for that. And just three minutes, none of which is wasted. This is one of these songs you can do with full production, or you can do with just an acoustic, it'll always sound good because it's well thought out. For some reason when you started singing I immediately thought of Michael Head in early Shack.

I wasn't intentionally reaching for that northern English sound but very happy with how it all turned out. Could it be longer and perhaps have an extra verse in there? Sure, but I just haven't got the patience.
