Oasis reunion tour 2024

Was listening to a bootleg of the last oasis show I saw in 2008 and while Noel was singing the masterplan, it occurred to me that they only difference in the band between then and now is the bass player. (Was Mike Rowe in the band then or was it the Jesus guy?) weird that he basically is doing an oasis reunion now.

I seen them in Ottawa in 2008 with opening act Ryan Adams.

I must have had a proper hard on the whole show. My god 2008 me must have been strutting all night.

Yeah, that was the one I was at too, alongside the V fest on Toronto island where Noel got attacked. That was heading towards being maybe the best show I saw them do before the incident. Plus Weller was on before them so I assumed he was going to come out and play on champagne supernova…which ended up being cut. FFS.

Fun fact, the arena in Ottawa ran out of beer before oasis came on. Whether that was because of demand or because we all thought we were seeing BRYAN Adams, I’ll let history decide.

I forgot it was you Canadadadians that tried to terminate Dwayne.
