Was listening to a bootleg of the last oasis show I saw in 2008 and while Noel was singing the masterplan, it occurred to me that they only difference in the band between then and now is the bass player. (Was Mike Rowe in the band then or was it the Jesus guy?) weird that he basically is doing an oasis reunion now.
(This has been “posts with no real point”. Thanks for watching!)
Yeah, that was the one I was at too, alongside the V fest on Toronto island where Noel got attacked. That was heading towards being maybe the best show I saw them do before the incident. Plus Weller was on before them so I assumed he was going to come out and play on champagne supernova…which ended up being cut. FFS.
Fun fact, the arena in Ottawa ran out of beer before oasis came on. Whether that was because of demand or because we all thought we were seeing BRYAN Adams, I’ll let history decide.
Brother, let me tell you something, the prospect of an Oasis reunion is like the ultimate tag team match, dude! It's like when the Hulkster and Macho Man Randy Savage joined forces to form the Mega Powers - it was epic, man! Just picturing Liam and Noel Gallagher burying the hatchet and getting back together on stage sends chills down my spine, brother!
You see, Oasis is like the rock 'n' roll equivalent of Hulkamania. Their music has that larger-than-life energy that gets the crowd pumped up, just like the Hulkster in the ring. And just like I had my Hulkamaniacs backing me up, Oasis has their loyal fans who have been craving a reunion for years, brother!
Now, I know those Gallagher brothers have had their fair share of feuds, just like in the wrestling world where we had our rivalries and intense battles. But you know what, brother? Sometimes even the toughest competitors realize that together they can achieve greatness. And that's what a reunion would be - a chance for Oasis to create magic once again, just like the magic that happens when I step into the ring, dude!
So, if the day comes when the brothers decide to reunite Oasis, the world better be ready for an explosion of rock 'n' roll chaos, brother! It would be like slamming an opponent with my signature leg drop, sending shockwaves through the arena! The anticipation, the excitement, the sheer power of that reunion show would be absolutely off the charts, dude!
