Dwayne has an expensive divorce to pay for. It’s inevitable Oasis will now reunite to pay for it.
Five nights at Wembley? £190 a ticket? The exact same set list as 2009? Liam’s voice turning to shit after one gig? It’s happening.

If Blur are charging £100 a ticket now by the time Oasis tour which will be summer 2024 after Dwayne has done his contractual obligations for this new record. Upwards of £150 I reckon.
Gem, Zutons bloke, Chris Sharrock will complete the dream Oasis lineup that nobody asked for. The fans will be asking, will they do Definitely Maybe or Morning Glory in full? With B-sides? No, they will do Little by Little & the Importance of Being Idle in a setlist which will probably be almost identical to when they left off only with a couple of Dig Out Your Soul numbers dropped for obvious older hits.
Kasabian & the Enemy to support, again.

Nah, assuming he’s healthy, there’s no way they’ll be able to pull off a ‘reunion’ without Bonehead being involved. 3 guitar attack!
Otherwise, that’s pretty bang on, sadly.

Liam already bangs out the songs we wanna hear and I can't imagine going and having to hear LBL or TIOBI. Also, the thought of them trying to make another record.. no thank you. I can't say Noel's solo stuff has been great and the past few albums they have let GEM throw his absolute shit tunes on it. I vote against a reunion for the simple fact of noel singing and GEM playing.

Horrific idea, I hope they never return or record again, it'll be shit and they will be old.
They stuck around too long in the first place, I am glad they did as I got to see them, but even on the Dig Out Your Soul tour I had no desire to see them live. I saw them probably on their latter day peak, the Brotherly Love Tour, 11 song right after another, it was biblical.

Oasis "Go Let It Out" "Columbia" "Morning Glory" "Fade Away" "Some Might Say"/"Acquiesce" "Gas Panic!" "Cigarettes & Alcohol" "Step Out" "Slide Away" "Champagne Supernova" "Don't Look Back In Anger" "I Am the Walrus" Perfect setlist. Thanks and good bye.

It was great, Liam sounded awesome too, which was an added bonus.

If it's Liam, Noel, Guigs, Bonehead and Whitey I'm all for it.
Anything else will be shite.

Horrific idea, I hope they never return or record again, it'll be shit and they will be old. This statement could have applied to every Oasis album and tour from 2000 onwards. Just think, we would never have heard Dwayne straining to hit those high notes on Waiting From the Rapture! Imagine the quality songs Dwayne has been hoarding especially for an Oasis reunion!

I don't agree with the idea that Oasis became shit the second after I last saw them stuff.
They definitely had stinkers, particularly when the setlist had became beyond stale and Liam lost interest at the back end of tours. The last time I saw them at Wembley Stadium was jank. I saw some mad gigs in the noughties though (Wembley Arena for DOYS, V Festival for DBTT). If the setlist feels fresh and Liam is on it then they could still mix it up. Not many places can go toe to toe with a TCOTU/Essex crowd though so understand it might not be as good in some places despite what form they were on.
Arsed about seeing them again though. Noel would just drain the fucking life out of everything. Fuck that little cunt.

OASIS
LIAM BONEHEAD BELL A SCOUSER ON BASS A DRUMMER ON DRUMS
that's the dream lineup we all deserve.

Yes, Eddie! Essex was the centre of the universe on that night. Basildon was never a huge Oasis town but they were back on the jukeboxes in the pubs around this time. Lots of football lads had got into them. It was no surprise that this enthusiasm was mirrored by everyone in that field from all over the south (although in hindsight it feels a bit random). They seemed surprised by the reception they got. It was going off all over. Absolutely blinding night. Euphoria.
Supporting the Black Crowes in the middle of nowhere compared to this? Off you fuck!

Saw Super Furry Animals instead. Came back to the tent to see little Jimmy's mates all coked up fighting and one went home crying. That's the power of Oasis

My mate left the festival to go and see Spurs play. Came back coked off his bollox and stood at the back singing Tottenham songs which I'm sure was absolutely delightful for everyone around him.
Do you think these things happened at them silly Argentina gigs everyone goes on about? Great days. Electric.

A favourite Oasis memory is you outside Kings College after a Dirty Pretty Things gig, listening to Shock of the Lightning on your phone/ipod whilst shaking the railings like the ultimate warrior & the security asking us to go home.

Oasis played a great indoor arena show in Glasgow just before Christmas 2005. It was around the time the random story of Ally McCoist shagging Patsy Kensit came out so of course LG dedicated a song to him.
I say this only as they seemed to be having fun and enjoying themselves on stage at that time. Fast forward to Murrayfield 2009 and it was just boring. A massive outdoor show at the same stadium I saw them for the first time in 2000 (an absolutely incredible show, better than Wembley) and it just died on its arse.
I actually really rate their last album. I think they were capable of renewing themselves, but over the piece, I’m glad they called a halt when they did.
