Looking forward to this on Friday. Won’t be the catchy pop tunes the melts on live4ever forum are expecting probably

I think they have caught a good vibe on this album, you can imagine it being played in a smelly pub in the 80s, but also think it sounds a bit repetitive.
I've been playing with the idea of wearing shorts to the Troxy gig. Also, thinking of wearing double C.P Company to really get in the zone. Not sure the album warrants the euphoria of either (I don't want to look stupid) but lots more digging to do though here. I'm So Bored is my fave. Big tune. Might play some air guitar during the gig.

Had a few listens through today and I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised. It seems to aim for a classic rock sound more than the modern rock sound Liam reaches for on his solo records. A couple of early observations:
It's pretty well sequenced
The lyrics are mostly not that cringe until the very last song
Just Another Rainbow sounds better in the context of the album
I'm conflicted about One Day At A Time because the acoustic bits feel like they've been shoe-horned in. They're good but I don't know if they fit? Overall, I think I like it, but yeah, I'm grappling with my opinion a bit on that one.
I'm A Wheel and You're Not The One might be my favourites
Make It Up As You Go Along is nice little ditty
I'm So Bored has some punk sensibilities. I'd love to hear it done faster and dirtier.
I'm most underwhelmed by Mother Natures Song
Overall, I dig it so far.

Yeah, I'd agree I'm A Wheel and You're Not The One are the standouts along with the singles and I'm So Bored.
Getting into it now.

If I had to rate each track, right now it'd probably go something like this:
Raise your Hands - 7 Mars To Liverpool - 7.5 One Day At A Time - 6 I'm A Wheel - 8 Just Another Rainbow - 7 Love You Forever - 6.5 Make It Up As You Go Along - 6.5 Your Not the Only One - 8 I'm So Bored - 7.5 Mother Natures Song - 6

I agree Mother Natures Song is the worst on it. Fuck knows what Squire was crying at. Maybe because it is the only track with obvious naff effects on Liam's voice. Should have replaced it with I'm So Bored Part 2.

Should have replaced it with I'm So Bored Part 2. The lyrics are horrendous. Musically it's nice enough but the lyrics, especially the chorus, fuck. So bad.

Enjoyable album. A 6 or 7 out of 10 - I’m a wheel is the absolute business.
Who built the the moon Liam Gallagher & John Squire As you were Chasing Yesterday Why me why not Noel gallagher’s high flying birds Council skies Cmon you know Anal bead 1 Anal bead 2
Fuck, plenty of abysmal albums up there.

Nice album, bit one paced maybe and liams vocals are the worst thing on there instead of the best for a change. Would prefer Chris helme singing this 7/10

First listen and it's a bit different to what I expected.
Aside from the brilliant Mars to Liverpool, You're Not the Only One is the other obvious standout for me.
"Decent" is my initial verdict. Nothing mind-blowing but a solid enough album that will hopefully have some growers.

I gave it another go whilst running in the rain this morning. Which was fun.
NOT!
I think has got more big tunes than initially thought. Love You Forever hit home here. It really doesn't sit well as an album to get into over the course of 40 minutes though and the second half is very Revolver. Hovering around a 7. Is bloody love Just Another a Rainbow and Baby I'm Bored so glad they gave this ago. Not sure if we need a second album though.
I looked to see what some of those Stone Roses cats thought of it. What an absolute bunch of cunts, eh? Solely like one album, no matter how good it is, does not put you on a pedestal.

Enjoyable on first listen.
Got those bluesy riffs in parts.
Liam with a few naughty lyrics.

Last song sounds like he's about to sing Don't Let Me Down by The Beatles.
