got mine after 10 mins, see what the line ups like before I pay up the rest. £200 quid as well. Its insane how much the price has gone up. I'm sure I payed £115 the first time I went. Thieving cow-milking bastards. spotted my 2005 ticket the other week and it was £125. pretty shocking price rises really. Yep, outrageous really, still compared to the major uk festivals I think it's a good deal, V charges 160 something for 2 days, Reading 170 for 3 days, you get alot more bang for your buck at glastonbury but either way I'll cause Eavis some real damage next year.

Pretty sure u couldn't get 8 tickets on one card in previous years, I reckon there is a lot of people paying the deposit then waiting on all the other festivals lineups to see if they want to go, plus muggy u2 fans that got a ticket just incase they play. headliners are gonna be shit, I heard it's radiohead/u2 & take that, if its not then i reckon prince, coldplay and kylie, i reckon it's only from those ones but It doesn't matter because the very first big B.D.I gig will take place headlining the other stage next year. Yeah 8 tickets ffs Wasn't only 2 last year? Fuckin U2 CUNTS buying up everything

Tickets for Glastonbury 2011 go on sale this weekend. Will U2 fans finally see 'Glastonbury' at Glasto?
Glastonbury's Michael Eavis has said he'd like U2 to play in 2011 after they missed their slot at Worthy Farm this past June.
Looking at the tour dates - there is a gap in the band's schedule ahead of the East Lansing show on June 26th which would make the Friday night a possibility.
The most Paul McGuinness would say was, 'We're certainly excited about our plans for next year. Watch this space!' From their official website

For gods sake, not U2. Excited to hear Beyonce is a rumour though. I'd pay £200 for that shit any day.

What do reckon Karl, do you think they'll have one resale just before or just after christmas? Or all be put on after the April deadline?

I thought it would be after the April deadline although there will be a load of payments that will bounce so perhaps those tickets will go on before then. I know it seems a long time away but I still think you'd manage to get one on the re-sale.
I know some people that have done various jobs, they do 12 hour shifts for two days though, that'd be me fucked, couldn't enjoy or be bothered to go there to work.

the work they do is a doss though. a mate had to sit off by a gate smoking pot and drinking cider for 12 hours which was fine but for his 2nd shift it pissed down. I've worked a few festivals and it can either be very grim (usually because of the weather) or a scream. solfest in the lakes is easily the most fun to work it has shit bands mostly but in 08 it had the double whammy of MISTYS BIG ADVENTURE followed by the duke spirit, on during my shift so I did a deal that i'd spend the first 4 hours of my shift doing the shitty job directing traffic if I could spend the time they were on 'working' on the stage. at the same festival in the briefing the day before the festival started they told us not to worry about people bunking in they couldnt care less, and DRUGS POLICY: "is everyone ok for drugs?"
