If i leave it too late to phone in sick i normally use one of the following
- I was up all night being sick/shitting/in pain and fell asleep at about 7 this morning so i slept through my alarm.
- My dad/nephew/sister (they all live in Warrington) were taken ill last night and i had to travel up there and didn't get home until this afternoon, i left my phone behind so i couldn't call in.
8/10 - I'm seeing Weezer tomorrow, I can't wait! I've been waiting a long long long time for this to happen. I know some of the newer stuff has been quite shit, but just to hear Rivers belt out Say It Ain't So is going to make up for it. I'm deducting 2 points from my mood because it's a festival I'm going to but the headliners are Black Eyed Peas (I won't be staying for them) and the only other band worth seeing is Hot Hot Heat and I heard they're quite shit live.

its not success thats the problem its what they did to achieve it... Totally disillusioned with my job and been looking for something else but there's literally nothing in this shitheap of a town that interests me which is leading me to the conclusion that a move away will be for the best.
Elsewhere, was looking forward to a night in on my own tonight, playing FIFA/Footy Manager and listening to some music but my Ma has totally destroyed that, cow. The bird stayed over last night and while I was upstairs getting ready for work the mother invited her round for tea which means she'll end up staying over. Don't get me wrong, she's ultimately great and I love spending time with her but I normally get a Monday to myself.
Other than that, it's payday Friday which I'm looking forward to a lot and my workload is still more than managable.

It's not that bad tbh. Don't see them that much, maybe 2 hours a day, max. Plus, there's not much else I can do at the minute because financially I can't afford to live alone. Once the gf finds herself a job we'll be getting a place together.
