Who cares what I think?!
Liverpool now have a world class squad and will be challenging for the league next year. Today is a day of joyous celebration.

What exactly are you on about? How do you expect people to be acting after what has just happened? Are you thick?

What exactly are you on about? How do you expect people to be acting after what has just happened? Are you thick? Liverpool's problems are down to FSW spending millions on the likes of lucas, agger, glen johnson, aurelio, aquilaini, dossena, riera, pennant, morientes, arbeloa etc. If kopites want to delude themselves that this decision means anything at all when all it means is that ownership has transferred from set of profiteers to another, then that's fine. However, youve had 20 years of relaity checks and nothing seems to work so i;m not surprised. That said, next year will definitely be your year.

most liverpool fans are realistic about things. on the pitch we got left behind years ago. the one season i was convinced we'd win the league was 96/97. haven't tipped us ever since. but the off field issues are stopping us from ever getting close to the likes of chelsea & united and now city of course. arsenal are falling short on the pitch as well. but least they have everything in place off it. ;D

yeh Liverpool fans are deluded, but Everton fans aren't when they say they belong in Europe and belong above Liverpool Also, Benitez's net spend was around £63m overall, the Yanks owed £237m, plus Arbeloa, Agger and Lucas were easily worth the price paid for them.

arbeloa - the real madrid regular. still think aurelio was decent. just got injury problems that are dogging him.

yeh I like Aurelio as well, he's had a nightmare with injuries though. Peter Brukner said today though that he's basically had to do pre-season training this month because of his achilles injury, he played half an hour yesterday so hopefully he'll be back soon.

John Henry has just turned up at the board meeting. surely the deal is as good as done now, with NESV. I'd say his appearance was pretty conclusive evidence that the deal is all but done. the LFC Communications adviser has just arrived so i reckon an announcement isn't far off.

There are no depths that this cunt won't sink to, he's absolutely made for Everton after showing epic levels of bitterness.
Fucking hell, surely after the British courts threw all his arguments out they therefore agreed that RBS are in the right and that there are stipulations in place to stop Hicks from frustrating the sale of the club, he's doing exactly that now for no other reasons other than greed and spite.

Texan state judges are elected, this one is probably in Hicks's pocket. It's a corrupt system.
There seems to be a lot of confusion about whther the Texan court has jurisdiction over the sale, and that the reason he's named NESV in the lawsuit is for that reason.
Fucking scum.
