Got this in my e-mail, you lucky UK bastards: Hi Everyone,
We wanted to say a huge thanks to all of you who made it along to see us on the first few shows of the summer and to confirm that the whispers and rumours you may have heard about a UK and Ireland tour are true! We can now confirm that we'll be playing the following shows in December:
1st BELFAST, Ulster Hall
3rd DUBLIN, Grand Canal Theatre
5th GATESHEAD, Sage
6th BIRMINGHAM, Symphony Hall

9th BOURNEMOUTH, O2 Academy

The TCOTU Contemporary Orchestra will feature in the shows at Gateshead, Birmingham and Manchester
Tickets for all of these shows will go on general sale on Friday 23rd July at 9am but as it should be, our mailing list can access tickets via the following presale links from Wednesday 21st July.

I reckon The Boy with the Arab Strap is the best place to start tbf. Dunno if people will agree but that's what got me into them. Also the song "Lazy line painter Jane" - cracking fucking song IMO.

I started with Tigermilk but it was The Boy With the Arab Strap that got me hooked, basically. But I suppose The Life Pursuit is the most 'commercial' sounding one? It's got a lot of fucking awesome tunes in it, it's slowly becoming my favorite.
