Seeing The Fall & Mogwai at some Glasgow 'festival' on Sunday. I can't even remember the name of it, there's so many of these kind of events going on here. Should be good though, I'm taking my bird, who has no concept of what The Fall are, so I'm hoping Mark E Smith is in a particularly odd mood and plays the entire gig from behind an amp, repeating the same live over and over before smacking his mrs about.

Was supposed to see The Fall at Dour Festival 2008. Mainly went there to see them and BJM but ofcourse they cancelled  |

Dour Festival I don't know what your understanding of the word dour is, but if they had that event in Scotland, I'd be expecting Malcolm Middleton and the late Gerry Rafferty to be headlining. |

Dour is also a place in Belgium, near the French border. Bizarre festival, within half an hour the ambulance was there to pick up the first overdosed lightweights. Could hear the sirens day and night... |

Seeing Wilco tomorrow for the third time, still don't know how to get to the city though.
Thinking about retiring from gigs after that, although I have Noel and Fleet Foxes booked later this month, so next years.
