Has anybody seen Daniel Johnston live? The first time I saw him was unbelievable. I doubt it was because he was so great but just seeing him was really wonderful & quite moving. I was obsessed with him at the time though which could of helped. The second & third time I saw him I kind of wished I hadn't bothered as it was the same thing just a 1000 times less moving & also left me feeling a bit short changed both times. Definitely catch him once though if you are a big fan of his music. flying blow up bigs - pink floyd! |

Thanks, I'll definitely be there then. I reckon my weakness for him has past a little, but being in the room with the man will surely revive the flame.
Haven't been to a show in four months and still don't know if I'll do any festival this year, shitty shite.

Seeing Daniel Johnston tomorrow, just grabbed the penultimate ticket. Still wondering about Benicassim, but the lineup looks just plain weird. Dylan in a festival? David FUCKIN Guetta? And if you Brits are going to impose your tastes in our festivals, you better develop a good one: Ed Sheeran, Katy B, Florence, Dizzee...  Still a few interesting things like Stone Roses, Horrors, Vaccines, Buzzcocks, New Order, ATDI, Noel, Kurt Vile, Howler... It really seems like a good two day festival separated in four days but it's all there is. With something like Jack White and Dum Dum Girls it would look better. |
