Going to see rage against the machine at a festival in july. I will gladly stand at the back by the soundboard for that one. I'm too old to get kicked in the head at a concert anymore.
(Also, the band on the main stage before them? The National. So at least I'll be able to get a nap in before RATM comes on.)

couple of postitives to come out of the coronavirus gig situation.
toots and the maytalls norwich gig has been reschedule from a day i couldnt do to a day i can make now. still never seen them and this is meant to be a farewell tour so think ill try and make the effort.
also jazz legend gary bartz who played with miles davis, eric dolphy, charles mingus etc was meant to be playing norwich arts centre on a sunday which is a pain in the arse for me as my last bus home is earlier on a sunday. it's been rescheduled for a monday which is perfect.

I've had nine gigs cancelled/postponed so far, with more expected.. talk of this 'social distancing' lasting for most of this year, now. That would mean no gigs at all..

just noticed the dean wareham gig in norwich has been postponed until feb 2021.
glad that one is rescheduled as i was really looking forward to it and thought it might just get cancelled. first gig of 21 in the bag!

See tickets are still insisting that swans tour in august isn’t cancelled and won’t refund.
Despite what people are advertising we will be lucky to have gigs this time next year.
