I dont know how anyone can dislike red wine. if it wasnt for the fact that I drink it like water given half the chance and get absolutely destroyed on it I'd drink it all the time. Never liked the taste, the hangover is minging, and I was always a beer girl.

I'm going to the micah p hinson since I'm sure candie will play a few more times between now and xmas anyway. despite the fact that candie is free and micah is £12 if I dont manage to blag it in the next hour and a half.
also a HUGE despite on this: Hinson describes himself as "a firm supporter of the American Dream", which he considers Barack Obama to be "the murderer" of. He is opposed to nationalised healthcare, and the buyouts of banks and car companies seen during the recession of the late 2000s"

I saw Micah once with a Spanish backing band. A friend of mine really likes some of his work so I went. He was really good tbh, like the tall tenor version of Woody Allen.

He was really good tbh, like the tall tenor version of Woody Allen. apparently he has a couple of spanish eps.. anyway it was really good stuff. sad of course to miss candie but I'll see her again. like you say ben you don't live in liverpool. I can see her live many times. I used to live round the corner from her (when she shared a flat with abi zuton**) and saw her in tesco all the time.... music week continues (hence me coming home early) tomorrow with a triple header of liverpool bands for 3 quid in a fake record shop that is actually an art installation (its on seel street, the tesco end next to the cafe for anyone familiar with liverpool) called never records, which most importantly is BRING YOUR OWN BOOZE. which always leads to epic drunkeness. ** abi zuton fact, I once saw her buying KY, she's married to howie and candies brother sean who drums in the zutons. clearly he buggers her enough for her to need it.

Abi is really married to Howie? Never knew that, any idea for how long?
Them scouse bands really do like to keep it in the family, I've seen no listings for tramp attack even in liverpool this past year, was hoping them and gary bandit would release something. I'll have to rip them sweetcorn tracks if they are still up on myspace, they was pretty good.

What a dramatic episode. Candie Payne - 'oh I love NY La' Mr David - 'I must notify Ben of the soapbox of this' Mr David - 'Ben, Candie is coming to New York' Ben - 'yay' Mr David - 'Sorry, she's not, I was drunk' Ben - ' '

thats probably fairly accurate. I was drinking leffe by the pint in the shipping forecast, which is bad enough, but the gig I'd been to before was BYOB.
while I was talking to her mates dissapeared, apparently they got kicked out cos one of them poured a pint over some tart and are now barred.
