I really don't like going abroad, I never feel happy or comfortable. Not my thing

I'm the opposite, I don't like to stay in France even though I sometimes do & there are obviously a lot of beautiful places to see. But I regularly feel the need to get away from the french society, the french news, the french frenchness.

I've been wondering for the last couple of years. None of my former classmates who went and I spoke with ever since can remember. I'm really starting to wonder if I ever went to TCOTU at all

Venice in the winter has got to be really romantic with the canals and the mist, and not as much tourists (except during the carnival).

I like travelling but only by car or train. Not being dropped by a plane, spent some time at some place and go back. Yeah that's nice for a weekend/city trip but apart from that it's shit. I've never been outside Europe though but I don't care that much. Only plans I have going outside Europe is going to the States at some time in my 20s and that's it. Mainly because I hate flying but also because I don't care too much. Wherever you go in Europe you meet people from 17.000 different nations, speaking 10.000 different languages anyway.

Go Belfast & see Linfield with SuperJ then watch a rubbish punk band with Irish_piss, that's what I'd do.

My brother went there quite a few times, he always came back a happy man. Seems like a nice city to go. You live in England, so you're used to the rain anyway :)
