I don't know how to defend myself tbh I'm in the crime room with a knife on my hand and blood all over my Converse. But I'm not the killer, just at the wrong place at the wrong time, I swear

Supposed cover, from Julian's twitter I hope it's for real tbh :-XWell considering it's a painted wall, it's a low chance, but yeah I also kinda hoped it was real, at least for a single release. looks like something that would be in a nyc public school in the 80's.

www.rollingstone.com/music/news/the-return-of-the-strokes-inside-the-fractious-sessions-for-their-fourth-album-20110118Starting to get really excited with this tbh, more than anything cos it's getting closer. And the fact that both Albert and Nick have said they want to release albums more often shows a bright new future too, with less pressure than a "five years after comeback". I thought they were packing it after this one tbh. On the other hand, The Vines are releasing another mediocre Vines-by-number single. To think they were once an exciting band, maybe not very innovative but clearly a breath of fresh air...

Don't they always say that about highly-anticipated come-back albums though? I'm going to wait until I hear it to see if it's better than the others tbh.

They always say that Face facts trendy kids, 10 songs clocking in at 30 minutes every 4 years each time being slightly worse than the previous batch.

Still would be worth it, and First Impressions On Earth is far from "10 songs clocking in at 30 minutes". But yeah, you haven't said "another shit record", which proves you're starting to dust your skinny jeans...
