Isle of white looks completely shit to me, just looks like complete hell like V festival with only 2 stages plus more of an inconvenience.
If you can deal with a festival that doesn't have many huge acts then Bestival looks the bollocks, I think I may go 2012, just looks a great atmosphere & alot of cool shit happening. Isle of white just looks like mid 30 somethings trying to reclaim their youth to shit bands.

One of the greatest things about the IOW festival are the trolleys Morrisons provide outside the campsites for the walk into town. Push your mate in one, quick turnover half way, overload it with food and drink once at the supermarket, then push it back to the campsite without the need for aching limbs. You won't nick them otherwise you won't get your quid back 2004 was my favourite year. David Bowie, The Charlatans, SFA, The Who, Manics and of course Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, all happening in motion with the Euro Championships. Every time since then the lineup's been worse tbh, still Pulp should be great, hopefully there's an overall improvement next year. There's also some excellent traditional pubs in town full with memorabilia on the walls from the 68-70 festivals etc, so I'd say it's definitely worth going at least once.

I won't be going back to T in the Park again in a hurry. The line-ups have been woeful past few years, and it's just not worth the cash.
Hitting Glasto next year for the first time, looking forward to it. I plan to shove a lot of middle-class Islington types about.

|I'm glad you are finally coming Chrissie, your constant ABUSE of the festival really hurt me, I hope Weller & The Charlatans play storming sets and you return and say 'karl, you was right all along' Chrissie, I'll be in the baggy mondays tent thursday at 9pm if you fancy some manhugs. Best moment of my life was sharing those manhugs with CMPunk & Superjohnny, I hope to share them with you.

I'll be there, just try and stop me. Sounds BIG. It's about time that Glasto got the Columbia_rocks_man once over.
I plan to wear the same KILL ALL HIPPIES t-shirt for five days tbh.

The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys and Primal Scream confirmed for Benicassim. The Strokes is a must for me and I've never seen Primal Scream, Arctic Monkeys I don't really care. Things are getting tougher

Aye I seen that like. I ended up getting Isle Of Wight tickets, so im hoping that The Strokes play Glastonbury like they're rumoured to and Primal Scream play Glasto or IOW. Looking more like Coldplay are gonna headline Glastonbury with them announcing european festival appearances and with U2 there im hoping for The Strokes or someone like that to headline one of the other stages.

The new batch of confirmations doesn't satisfy me at all. Mumfords, The Streets plus some Spanish bands. Only Veronica Falls grab me and they have only released two singles so far. Oh, and searching for this thread I found both the Shit Horse and the Yellow Peril Records ones forgotten in the lumber room
