I love music documentaries tbh, I could spend the rest of my life watching them. The Beatles Anthology DVDs might be my most precious possession tbh. The Last Waltz, anything with Dylan on it, Sugarman... Even fake shits like I Walk The Line. Here there are some cool ones pitchfork.com/features/articles/9134-music-documentaries/

Some favourites:
DiG! (2004) Beware of Mr. Baker (2012) Billy Childish Is Dead (2005) The Flaming Lips: The Fearless Freaks (2005) Gimme Shelter (1970) Krautrock: The Rebirth of Germany (2009) Searching for Sugar Man (2012)
Agreed with Dan, I can watch BBC3 docs on artists I couldn't give a shit about. Murph's, that Beware of Mr Baker doc I think you'd like. Not a fan of Cream myself but fuck me is he a character, albeit a bitter & aggressive one but it is a fascinating doc.

He married a 13-year-old, pretty weird guy, also has one of the better songs on Their Satanic Majesties Request.

just checked wiki (knew she weren't 13 ). On 2 June 1989, aged 52, Wyman married 18-year-old Mandy Smith. The couple separated two years later and finalised their divorce two years after that.

I saw Good Ol' Freda. It is really hard to find hidden corners in the Beatles story anymore and she is just that. Her role on their story is undeniable and the doc is humble and caring, really enjoyed it.

I always like the bbc3 one's, even if I don't necessarily like the artist. Same with classic albums, always like when they seperate bits of the tracks

just checked wiki (knew she weren't 13 ). On 2 June 1989, aged 52, Wyman married 18-year-old Mandy Smith. The couple separated two years later and finalised their divorce two years after that. He started seeing her when she was 13, nice! However, he said, he has since been in touch with police. Smith herself confirmed publicly three years ago that she was 14 when they first had sex, and a decade earlier her older sister had called for him to be prosecuted. “I went to the police and I went to the public prosecutor and said, 'Do you want to talk to me? Do you want to meet up with me, or anything like that?’ and I got a message back, 'No’,” he said.

Playing that music in the late 60s is the equivalent of riding the penny-farthing in 2015. They are so shit, even their record is brown. I'm so glad bands like the Stooges came over and took a shit in their mouths.
