I'm kind of glad their domination is coming or has come to an end. The decision process at the club is an absolute joke. What kind of club would hire a manager who goes by the name of TATA.
I loved them under frank. Watching Ronaldinho and an emerging Messi was an absolute joy. Ronaldinho was a rock star who shined like a god for quite a brief moment. For 3 or 4 years Ronaldinho did the impossible in a Barcelona shirt, a true magician, while there are better and more effective players than Ronaldinho, there isn't a single player in the history of the game who can touch his brief explosive magic.
I still quite liked them under pep, but was disgusted by the treatment of Zlatan. I thought Zlatan was a genius signing, that would finally transform Barca into a side with a plan A and plan B. The team could have been built around Zlatan and Messi successfully, fast forward to today and you've got a side struggling with an identity crisis, dodgy transactions, tax fraud, and various other failings at all levels, what club gives 30 million to a players family? Its utterly incredible. Neymar is a good player but he's no where near the quality of Zlatan, he doesn't have any kind of presence in the team. Barca have failed to build a team around Messi and Neymar.
Messi also looks bored and uninterested. His influence is less, and he runs less, yet he still might outscore Ronaldo this season.
I hope athletico Madrid win the league and champions league this season.
It will be interesting to see who their next manager is.
I feel Barcelona and Manchester United will both compete to sign the same manager next season.
