FIFA has it's headquarters in Zurich, they'll do anything to make sure the Swiss get there including paying the referee (which has definitely happened. FACT). Disgraceful performance from the referee. The tackle on Dallas wasn't a red in my opinion but the penalty decision was terrible. He was also blowing for fouls in the box when the ball was being delivered from set pieces. At one point McAuley had a foul given against him when he was the man being held. They obviously knew how dangerous we are from balls into the box and couldn't take the risk of us scoring from one.
Anyway the Swiss dominated possession and created a lot of chances yet McGovern only had one save to make the whole game.
It was already an up hill struggle to win over two legs and it's even harder now.

Video replays are clearly needed for penalty box decisions, whether it be dives, handballs or penalties. Leave offsides as they are if there's gonna be so much uproar about meddling with 'the beautiful game'. It's clearly not so beautiful as it is.

A lesson Italy should've learned: you don't start Matteo Darmian as a 'wingback' when you badly require a goal.
