Kanye West gives surprise performance

Pretty cool, I've always had a take or leave attitude towards Kanye, I like some of his stuff, not massive of other bits, have generally preferred his work as a producer rather than a rapper/artist, but I'm really looking forward to the new album, you heard any of the Good Friday songs he was giving away, some good stuff, there was a 7 ish minute song called Long, Long, Long he did with Mos Def which is really decent. He's got some big gun producers on this album too, not least RZA, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Q Tip, Madlib and Swizz Beats along with his own stuff, thats as good as it gets to my ears, really hope its a dirty sounding record, some big guest MC's too, Mos Def, Raekwon, Jay Z, Common....Elton John.. really looking forward too it

I like Kanye and he's one of the few rappers that really can "perform" (lack of a better word). Im not a huge fan either, but I think hes a character. Deffo excited to spin his new one.

Yeah, he's a character definitely, bit of a knob, but you can kind of forgive him for it at times because I think he's pretty genuine underneath, at least a thousand times more interesting than most of mainstream hip hop definitely.

As good as Kanye can be or can potentially be, I doubt he'll ever record anything as good as either Shimmy Shimmy Ya or Liquid Swords

I dunno who you represent, but Liquid Swords is better than any of Kanye's records on whole.
