What's the position on illegal links on here?
I have a link (which I'm currently downloading), but can I share it?

listening to standing on the shoulder of giants i bet it is not better than that. if standing on the shoulders of giants was just 4 different versions of little james, sunday morning call and put your money where you mouth is, it'd still be better than this album. its horriblethat said. despite it being on waffles I'd put my shirt on this being a transcode, theres something not quite right with the sound.

does not surprise me in the slightest. bbc compared it to ok computer which is laughable; coupled with the fact the album itself has 10 different covers. COLLECT EM ALL KIDS garbage.

OK computer was awash with musical and stylistic ambition, this has none whatsoever. shamefully I forget the name of the song but theres a track on the first album that slowly creeps into a disco tune over the length of the song, its lovely. sprawl II on this tries the same thing. except instead of the stealthy creep the song stops for half a second and some keyboards kick in.

Tunnels I'm only halfway through this and i'm quite enjoying it so far, its not spectacularly blowing me away or anything but its ok, mind you, Funeral crept up on me too

I dunno, Crown Of Love is quite direct as in it just completely changes structure into that disco bit at the end, whereas Tunnels creeps up into the discoy part throughout the song

tunnels was what I meant, I was getting confused about its position on the album, I said it was near the end, hence abs thinking crown of love.
put a 2nd listen of the new one, perhaps I'm being a little harsh, but just listening to tunnels and crown and love compared to this, often there are 2/3/4 different musical ideas happening at the same time, and somehow the sprawl works and its glorious, this is far more rigid, and its not what I wanted...

Yeah, I know what you mean, to be fair, and I am a fan of Neon Bible where a lot of people were dissapointed, but they would have to pull something really special out of the bag to better Funeral imo, I absolutely love that album and you nail it with the description, its a sprawling mess, but it works, those songs still give me shivers when I listen to them. This new album lost me a touch in the middle but its picked up again with Month of May, Wasted Hours and Deep Blue...
