Nobody stands in the way of mad4itdom not even Finland. For that reason, he must be destroyed.

Babu, you're the best thing that happened to Finland since Jari Litmanen. Now lets put on some Heavy Stereo

I'd love to give babu a chinese burn.
I sung Chinese burn at 3am to Gem whilst walking down Camden town a few years back, his mrs told me I was too young to remember that song, shhhhhhlag.

Monday Afternoon and Let Go Of The Dream were also good tunes tbf. Heavy Stereo's best moments came in Cartoon Moon, Crown Of Thoughts and Shooting Star. Two forgettable bands in truth

Bit late but I'd just like to say, what a tune. My main fear about hearing Beady Eye was that it'd be a bit too plodding and uninspired, maybe something like a shit Born On A Different Cloud, but I was wrong. Obviously it's only a throw-away track but it's upbeat and Liam sounds immense. Loving the piano and the backing vocals too. I thought I was looking forward to the album before but now I'm itching to hear the rest. The only let down (the lyrics don't count) has to be the lack of decent guitar. I mean surely Gem and/or Andy could do better than that? Still, they've got the rest of the album to step up. Good times. Hats off to Beady Eye. NOEL, NOEL, GIVE US A WAVE!

in today's entry for the 'the stupidest thing Alan McGee has ever said...this week' award, we have this:
He added: "It's a fucking free download. It's too early to fucking say. Think of the talent in that band: Gem [Archer], [Chris] Sharrock, Liam Gallagher, the best frontman there's ever fucking been! And Andy Bell, one of the best guitarists up there with [Jimmy] Page. How can that be a bad band?"
He really needs to stop talking for a while.

Saying he's the best guitarist that's ever been in oasis is kind of like saying Sporty was the best singer in the Spice Girls. Damning with faint praise etc etc.

yeah but we've not seen or heard any great guitar work from andy bell in oasis have we? there's no indication that he's even going to play guitar for beady eye. That's because he was the bass player. I'm sure I read that he is on lead for Bdi, I'd imagine him and gem will swap like gem did with Noel. I honestly think the song didn't need anymore guitar than it had.

Fingers crossed for another Like A Daydream with Liam roaring out the vocals.

Andy, I love you and all but: You just admitted that the lyrics are horrible, and that the guitar work is horrible. And then you say you love it. I just don't see how that connects. It's like saying Heathen Chemistry got shit songs, shit guitar work, shit lyrics and shit production, but you love it!
