So glad you said Black Angels are shit. That last record was just so average sounding. Their debut is brilliant a real 5 out of 5 affair for me, and the second one has moments of brilliance ('Deer-Ree-Shee' 'Snake In The Grass' and 'You On The Run') but the third one has no redeeming qualities and i've tried to like it. I've never managed to catch them live which is a pity because i reckon they'd be pretty good but i've run out patience with them as a recording band. Was just having a look through my iTunes there and found an EP by a band called Spiral 25, if i remember correctly someone called Oxford Lad from Kable's Soapbox was mates with them and turtleed it, some massive moments on it, if i remember ie can be arsed i'll turtle it. |
