Not heard this in a while ... Absolutely loved that band. They based themselves in TCOTU for about a year, I used to go watch them almost every month. Then there was the Asteroid 4, Lea Shores, People's Revolutionary Choir, The Tamborines & a bunch of others that I can't think of right now that I'd go watch for a few quid every single week. Great times. Shame Morning After Girls didn't last, I heard they released a 2nd album (maybe an EP) of mostly acoustic tunes but half the band had left including the really fit bird so I wasn't arsed. Kind of lost interest in that whole scene over the past year or two though The Tamborines finally got an album out & it's really fucking good.

Greatest music video of the year? at least the most creative. Its basically a short film by Kanye West.

I'd loved to have seen The People's Revolutionary Choir, but unfortunately they split before i got the chance. Still without a doubt one of my favourite singles of the last decade ... ... i never really got round to checking The Lea Shores out, Asteroid 4 are a bit samey for my liking. That Tambourines album is cracking. Remember The Voices? More shoegazer than psychedelic but their debut was stunning. I think they released a 2nd album but i never bothered with it.

Just noticed this. Nice one Jorn. Written for Derroll Adams that, one of the true American folk troubadours. Ronnie Lane did a song of his as well. Anyway, magnificent song this, for some reason I really got into Donovan lately.

Anyway, magnificent song this, for some reason I really got into Donovan lately. Amazing stuff. Thought the song was about a dream he had or something. Good to see some Hazlewood in here also, along with barny one of the few men who are one with their moustache and have it on with such nonchalance
