I've just learned Iron Lion Zion was posthumously released taking an old Marley recording and building that big incredible song from it. A bit like Real Love, which is another hell of a song tbh. great ain't it. courtney pine played the epic sax part.

Tulips by Damu The Fudgemunk feat. Raw Poetic and Archie Shepp
There has never in the history of recorded sound been a better name than Damu The Fudgemunk.
And Archie Shepp is a LEGEND, if you don't know already. Most famous for Attica Blues.

The new RTJ record. It might just be their best offering.

Paulo Nutini - Pencil Full of Lead
My kids love it. This and the monstrosity that is Baby Shark. Given the choice, I'd take Nutini any day. Still, they also loved Bring It Down so it's not all bad.

A younger myself on a buzzier Soapbox would open a thread about TONETTA. But let's just say I found him and I'm listening to... that. Won't describe much though.

Browsing through some tracks of Ann Steel's only record from 1979, and it's like a rough, electronic ancestor of Cate Le Bon. Incredibly quirky but surprisingly not dated or annoying (although comes close). Apparently she was a model and made this record in Italy as a collaboration with some Roberto Cacciapaglia. Looking forward to giving it a full listen soon

Richard Thompson - Beeswing.
Always loved this song. Christy Moore does a dandy version as well.
