So yeah, the BIG NEWS. First of all we've signed our first rapper to the label, he's called Del and is from Brixton, James D. Cody and myself struck the deal outside a pub round the corner from the Academy. He gave us a sample of what he could do and we were mighty impressed. I took his number, he took mine, and we'll be in contact sometime this week. Del also does a night in some Bar & Grill in Brixton every other Wednesday and has agreed to put on a YPR night. First gig to be booked soon. This shit just got real.  I was cracking up, Del's record will mark a new era for Yellow Peril. awesome. just got my laptop with all the hard disk space on back from repair (spilt espresso on it  ) so i shall be doing a lot of downloading of yellow peril future classics. did erica do the artwork for kevs xmas ep btw? |

Baz, I don't know actually that's a good point. yeah I know what you mean Tucker, I'm undecided if to do an original or cover for the Christmas EP but thankfully he's not done anything I was going to. Gonna give this baby a blast in a minute. |

I've wrote an original 'Please Remember (It's Christmas Time)' and even downloaded some .wav files of sampled sleigh bells  Will record both and see which I prefer. Really like the idea of a dark, moody, atmospheric 'Last Christmas'. For what the song is about, it's a bit too chirpy and I'd like to put that right. |

Hey guys, just a quick message to say what an honour it is to be releasing music on Yellow Peril Records, even if it is just a fun christmas covers album, but here's hoping to a long and prosperous partnership together.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the record, just a little bit of fun really, been working on it sporadically over the last few months, some of the songs are more traditional sounding and some I tried to change up a bit, hope you enjoy it and hope it brings a festive smile to your face.
Merry Christmas one and all!
Oh and Erica didn't make the artwork, though I was inspired by her stuff and she pointed me in the direction of some stuff I could use/steal to when designing the artwork, so thanks Erica!
