I absolutely adore the first album. It's like a soundtrack to a Sci-Fi film that plays in your head. And you listen to it and imagine this movie, but it's all so abstract - it's a lot of fun. It's not an "everyday" record though. I want to listen to it a bit more before I move on, maybe write a nice review here. Also love the track Constantinople from a later album - very Zappish/Beefheartesque!
I think so too. One day you'll listen to Eskimo proper...and you will eat your words!! They have postponed their European tour to early 2023, so we have one year to get into them!!

The Rolling Stones: 21 The Decemberists: 20 (actually heard one song, then fell asleep and the tracks kept scrobbling!!) Songs: Ohia: 17 Oasis: 15 (all last night) Combo Chimbita:12 (new record just released but can't tell if it's good or not) Leonard Cohen: 11 (trying to decide whether You Want it Darker is a good album or a snoozefest) Woven Hand: 11 (the two new singles)
