Currently using a combination of my iPhone, an app called GigBaby and Adobe Audition for recording. The mic on the iPhone isn't great tbh and I want to have a 'proper' setup using my laptop, Audition and a mic. I'd actually like to have 2 mics to may laptop but I don't know if that's possible?
Anwyay, I had a look on eBay for a mic. Found a pretty decent one for £25 but it didn't have the right connection for a computer. I asked the seller if there was a cable to let me plug it in but he said no and said I'd need some software that costs £80.
Are there any people on here who record at home? What kind of setup do you use? Is there anything you'd suggest?
Cheers, people.

I have one of these: It's like an external sound card I plug into.

I find the Iphone works fine if you stick it on something, so your voice is near the phone and guitar is slightly away.
Once it's done on that I convert it to mp3 then use adobe audition to edit/play around with it.
Try putting your phone on top of some dvds or something then do a tune see if it makes any difference for you

Impossible if you are me You've got to realise I've had a guitar for 8 years now & still refuse to attempt to play bare-chords or even an F. Ask someone who's not a spastic like Kevin Tho I did kind of learn 3 blind mice, spent ages trying and when I got it right I thought 'well that's a fucking waste of time'. Mi might turtle my new album tonight because I'm fucking bored. Show you what real harmonica playing is all about.

I just really love tunes with harmonica in and want to do some of my own. And get it turtled, I'm totally excited.
