No.. but I was there!!!!!! This is fucking cool of BRMC, they've put this on because they realised many people with a ticket would not be able to get to the venue tonight because of the snow. They always treat the fans well. Shame Reef didn't do that for me last week, cunts

I might have it, what's the date? Ah didn't see that. I dunno wether it was past Howl or Baby 81. Nov/Dec 2005? Nov/Dec 2007? Anyway, you should recognise it since the setlist was LONG. They played 25 songs or more, dunno.

I had the whole gig in video format on my old pc, gone now Interesting to see in 5 years BRMC tickets have risen from 13.50 to 20 quid.

Yeah, they came on about 8:20 and played until about 11:15, was great though I've seen a couple of BRMC gigs that they were even better at.
The reason they did that gig was because they were booked for XFM allnighter at Brixton Academy a few months before that & they advertised it on their website not knowing it was a club night & they would only have a 45 minute set. I'm pretty sure everybody who bought a ticket knew what the deal was but BRMC didn't & when they got there & was told they only had a short gig they went mental at the promoters. They sent an email out to everybody the next day apologising for what had happened & promised to 'make it up' to their fans. So they came back about three months later when they had no tour all the way to TCOTU for a one off & played pretty much their first three records plus the Screaming Gun EP. They must really hate We're All In Love because that was about the only song they didn't do.
They've always been great to the fans though. From little things like those Christmas mp3's they send out on christmas day every year & streaming that gig the other night might not seem much but they do things like that when most other acts wouldn't bother.
When I saw them earlier this year all their equipment was delayed because of that smoke cloud shit that happened so the venue hadn;t opened, me and my mate left the pub walked round to the venue at about 8pm & Robert was outside the venue on Camden High St apologising for the delay & playing requests on his acoustic.
Fucking love them, saturday is their 1,000 show. Me & SuperJohnny are gonna be having it big time.

They came to Colombia and played at a festival (full of metalheads and reaggae fans, but still) They were amazing though and people who didn't know them ended up being fans. I love them too.

I have to admit I lost interest in them when Howl was released...something about that record never clicked in me for some reason. But after reading your posts and acknowledging how nice and kind they are as people, I've ordered all the album I missed (they were ultra cheap second hand copies, so not a great effort). Definitely going to give them a second chance! Love their first two albums (especially Take Them On, for some reason).

Howl is their best album though, isn't it? (Well, aside from their debut which is flawless)

It really is, and from the little I know of him it should easily be shenandoah's favourite too
