CARL BARAT SOLO ALBUM and WARPAINT- THE FOOL.
i got both of them for free through the radio station i volunteer at, but reviews of Barats are woeful, even though i usually like him, and Warpaint- outstanding, but i dunno if its for me.
obviously ill def play both, but just thoughts on these two records please soapboxers?

Dunno but you should check out the Yellow Peril Records thread and listen to music by people of The Soapbox. You should also promote Yellow Peril Records on your radio show (if you still do it) and play some tracks

I am in the small minority who liked Barat's solo album.
Give it a bash.

I liked it too. Its not at all like the Libertines but has its charm. Tends to get a bit weak towards the end, but overall, it's a good autumn record. Give it a spin. (its way better than Doherty's effort)

Carl's album has a couple of decent tunes, but it's nothing special. And not at all close to Pete's solo album.
