I've been raped on all fronts. Never gambling on cup football again. Got a sov on Spurs 2-0 and Man U 2 Pool 1.

I'm officially feeling it again Henners.
The gut instinct is back.
I have a feeling Bet 365 are going to get taken to the cleaners this week.

Blues Villa will be a draw, but if you're a value better go for VILE to win
Scott Dann is injured which means Ridgewell at centre back (instead of left back) which also means the slow and very average David Murphy at left back. Now add to this is (despite having Bausejour) we haven't played with a real left wide man all season (McFadden injured), our left side could be weak
Add to this Villa right side has been made stronger by Walker and Albrighton is very effective for them. The game WILL be a draw but the better value is on those Vile cunts from Witton
Also for value go Ipswich as millwall seem to have a few injuries
in terms of reasonable value i'm also going (although all of these are favourites) Burnley, Huddersfield, Crewe, Wycombe (Lincoln struggling to put out a side), Hereford (strikers in form)

I disagree with your big two Henners.
Brum Villa is too close to call. I won't be getting involved.
Ignoring the last week of cup, Wall have a lot of form and Ipswich none. The Den is never an easy place to go as well. I'll probably include Millwall on my home team and draw accumulators.

lol they are just the value picks, Ipswich have their peckers up, Millwall have injuries, good value to be had.
If i were to have a big two they'd be Swansea and Leeds in le championat, and Southampton and Hartlepool in Liga uno

I can see Birmingham getting a result Henry, think they will be fired up after Tuesday's disappointment. Plus isnt Ashley Young out?

i can see all three situations but the most likely is a draw.
he's suspended but he's not actually of vital importance to them, like i say their right side will be strong and hungry with Walker and Albrighton at the same time
perhaps wait till sunday and see line ups if he starts with Jerome on his own we're less likely to win

*at the same time .... out team structure has taken a blow with Dann out, and out left hand side gets weakened with ridgewell tucking in

What about Bentley, Henry?

Post by henry on Jan 14, 2011 19:54:03 GMT
can't see him starting, he hasn't played much football and its a massive game, Larsson will be gone very soon but McLeish will want every perceived advantage he can have

her I am folks, sorry about the lateness of my post but better late than never eh? Plus, as you will see, most of my bets are for tomorrow.
BET OF THE WEEKEND [/U]
Fulham to beat Wigan @ 19/10
Wigan really are a bad side, i say it every week but i can not be overstated how bad they are. Fulham, on the other hand are picking up nicely now they've got most of their players back, including, possibly, johnson and mbe, ebleslele. Sidwell could prove to be a useful signing as well.
Cleverley's injury is a severe blow for wigan as he is pretty much their only creative outlet, NgZobia returns but i fear this may not be enough to save them.
Next Best[/u]
Spurs to beat United @ 2/1
Whilst opposing United at old trafford would have led you down the road to ruin, laying united united away from home would have led you down the road to riches.
This is another game where i think United should be opposed. Spurs definitely hold all the midfield cards in this game and Modric, VDV, Hiuddlestone (whoever) and Bale should dominate proceedings in the centre of the park and the return of Defoe should give them added bite up front.
I suggest backing Spurs to win to get the most value, more cautious punters might want to go for the 'draw no bet' option.. i really can't Spurs coming away from this game empty handed.
Other bets
Everton to beat Liverpool @ 27/10
Ths is a disappointing price as just seven days ago they were a stonking 7/2. However it appears to have dawned to the bookmakers that Liverpool, even with Gerrard and Torres, are a very bad side. Without either of these talismen and they are relegation contenders.
Blackpool outplayed and out passed them on Wednesday night and i can Fellaini and Rodwell having similar joy on Sunday. With Saha starting to purr, Beckford finding his feet and the two best attacking fullbacks in the league in COleman (i know he's a midfiekder) and Baines, the kopite defence will be having sleepless nights.
Sunderland to beat Newcastle @ 11/10
A team as good as sunderland should not be odds against to beat a team as average as Newcastle at home. Especially as Newcastle are without their best player.
The 5-1 at St James can be ignored in the context of this match. Sunderland have kept 5 clean sheets in the last 7 games and it's hard to see a Newcastle side without Carroll troubling the Black Cats' defence too much. At the other end the porous magpie defence will struggle to cope with Gyan, Bent, Richardson and Malbranque etc.
Blackpool to beat West Brom @ 15/4
Can't be arsed writng owt for this really. WEst Brom are on the slide and Blackpool are showing admirable consistency and aren't where they are through luck.
They are a better side than WEst Brom, who really shouldn't be odds on to beat anyone in this division.
One note of caution is that most of the West Brom team have effectively had a two week rest, whereas Blackpool played just three days ago.
Odds of nearly 4/1 cannot be passed up though.
Lower Leagues[/u]
Stockport to beat Herford @ 16/5
Stockport did well and were unlucky against Rotherham. Hereford, it needn't be said, are no Rotherham.
Ths is a gamble really, both teams are pretty much nailed on to concede, it's just a matter of who can make the most of their chances. Certainly think Stockport should be a bit shorter than they are.
Yes, they're awful, but Hereford are a whole lot worse.
Other ones
Leicester to beat Preston @ 11/10 - Yakubu is a cut aove this division and should get goals for fun. Plaus Preston are shite.
Brighton to beat Peterborough @ 4/5 - Fergie junior's bizarre reappointment (confirming henry's point) should not be enough to make a difference.
Erm that'll do tbh.
Happy Punting and Good Luck to everyone!

Hereford haven't won a game at home, but they have two good strikers in form plus its a relegation fight i'm not touching it
Preston are shite but they've got a new manager and a few loan signings, i'm a bit wary of that.
