Dean Wareham's post galaxie 500 band. i love galaxie 500. and dean's book black postcards is one of the best things ive ever read. it focuses alot on his post galaxie 500 work with Luna, so i dug out inspired by them their third record penthouse, i found a copy of it, and it was on the whole insanely good.
turns out a friend of mine, whos a bit older than me has 2 other Luna albums Lunapark and Bewitched, and theyre both class too.
anyone else like them, or even especially Galaxie 500. i just think its cool, beautiful music. and wareham writes simple but deceptively interesting songs. hes a minter guitarist too.
