We're gonna need a scan of that interview. Liam Gallagher: 'Beady Eye's album is better than 'Definitely Maybe'' www.nme.com/news/beady-eye/54251I expect nothing less to be honest.

Now that Liam Gallagher has given getting wound up his seal of approval, I guess this forum will take a turn.

Yeah George Carlin felt the same way about watching chaotic news on the TV, about natural disasters and war and all... Can't agree more tbh

Coats amazing. Don't get me wrong, it's actually awful. On a normal person. But he's a star.

That's the point, in it?
If you moaned about the leopard skin shoes, check this out?
He's always been like that. Deliberately sending himself up or exagerating his aggressive side to annoy people. 90% of people, included his seemingly most dedicated fans, get him wrong. He's not the king of Rock and Roll, he's just a geezer with a funny sense of humour.

The interview is a good read. The NME bloke whos heard the album seems really positive about it. ''The Roller' is apparently a nailed on single with a Lennon-esque piano hook. 'Standing on the edge of the noise' is described as glam-metal, 'Beatles and Stones' is lean 12 bar blues and the 6 minute 'Wigwam' is the finest song Liam has ever written and like a psychedelic lucid dream. The album is described as having rawer sound.
