Celtic - Dundee FC 2-1
Expected a stadium of Blains on E, bit of a let down. Perhaps better on a european night? Good to see Super Guidetti.

tottenham 2 - 1 burnley
first half was good. burnley's goal and lamela's winner were both scorchers. 2nd half was pretty dull. good to see us picking up more points though.

Valencia 2 - 1 Real Madrid
It was one of those games were you have to go down in the mud to win, specially after they scoring first. If we keep this mentality and effort we will get far.

Do you want to buy one more player from here? I think 3 is not enough for one season.

went to spurs v sunderland yesterday before going to the snooker at alexandra palace. we played pretty well despite making hard work of the win again. good to see the return of defoe too and that he still gets caught offside more often than any other player in the world.

Ottawa Fury FC 2-1 Minnesota United (AET). My local team just won the semifinal of the NASL (the league below MLS) on sunday...one of the most exciting sporting events I've ever been to. Record crowd for that league (9000+)....great old day and now we're off to New York to face the Cosmos (starring Raul and Marcos Senna) in the final. Good times.

Ottawa Fury sounds quite cool. Didn't know Senna is still playing tbh, cool guy. And that's Raul final match ever, right?

Valencia 1 - 1 Las Palmas
What a disaster, a completely lost and soulless team, not even traces of the team we were last season. This is looking real bad but if we look just at the numbers we're not too far of the 4th position and should pass to the next the Champions League round.

My beloved Ottawa Fury FC played our first ever competitive game against an MLS side tonight against the Vancouver Whitecaps in the canadian championship. And we only went and won 2-0! Second leg is next wednesday in Vancouver, and should we win on aggregate, we play either Toronto FC (of giovinco and michael bradley fame) or Montreal Impact (Drogba!) in the final. Positively giddy.

Going to see my beloved Ottawa Fury on Saturday to take on the Tampa Bay Rowdies, mainly because Joe Cole is playing for Tampa and I can yell at him for 90 minutes. Was looking up the lineups today and saw a guy named Georgi Hristov. Spent a good 3-4 minutes googling why I thought I recognized his name before it dawned on me I was thinking of Hristo Stoichkov and I'm 99% sure he wouldn't still be playing in the division below MLS.
But then Joe Cole is, so who knows?

What, Joe Cole isn't injured?

Quick follow-up, it was pouring rain all day and an artificial pitch, so ol' Joe didn't bother playing, and just sat on the bench for 90 minutes. Sigh.
But on the bright side, the Fury beat Edmonton, which means Toronto FC (along with Michael Bradley, Jozy Altidore, but sadly no giovinco) will be paying us a visit in the Canadian Cup next week. Yay!
