Anyone give this a spin yet? I listened to Baltimore as its the tune I like the most and wanted to hear the final version and it was pretty good.
Tennis is boring as piss live, or at least was when I saw em, probs wont bother with em live again though unless they're an opener again. We saw em with The Walkmen and while the tunes were there the performance was so lackadaisical it made me mad.

Saw they were coming here and gave them a listen as the last group named after a sport I didn't know anything about (i.e. Hockey) turned out to be fantastic.
These lot, Tennis, though, sounded shit. I'll be giving it a miss.

Shit's a bit strong  its just not your type of music. Those that like twee pop or female vocals will enjoy it. Its got a nice Camera Obscura sort of vibe. |

MUGS, that's who! I'll youtube a few tennis tunes. Love Camera Obscura but I don't consider them to be very Twee, anything that is usually considered twee usually makes my blood boil.

I dont think you'll like Tennis, Karl. Dan and Chrissie may enjoy it. The chick is skinnier than a twig and has the bushiest fro ever and they suck live, but I do like some of these tunes. |
