What album are you really waiting for to come out this year? No surprise but mine is the new Pains Of Being Pure At Heart album. I'm not sure I can wait till March though  I hope it's not jank as well but I really love the new single so I have very high hopes going in. |

My top 3 would be Fleet Foxes, Cloud Nothings and The Strokes. Of course then Beady Eye and hopefully Noel. The Rifles would be really nice too if it's confirmed. Anyone knows anything new about Brakes? Their last one was immense. On other news Eels recently confirmed they're gonna keep on touring this year  |

Yep Rifles is definitely out this year, before summer as well I'd imagine.
Would usually read SFA, Doves & BRMC but as far as I know there are no plans so it'll be..
Rifles, Nick Cave & BDI. I'm also excited about Ryan Adams again.

Same here, I really didn't like the second Mystic Valley Band album at all, but Shell Games is a good lead off single - it sounds like he's ditched the dungarees and straw hat for one. Incidentally the lyrics for the first verse reference his previous album art (The fireworks - Letting Off The Happiness, the vanity - Fevers & Mirrors, the circuit board - Digital Ash, the city streets - I'm Wide Awake and the shooting star and swaying palm tree - Cassadaga) which is officially the first interesting thing I've ever learnt from the youtube comments section |
