i deleted the track by track initial thoughts as i realised halfway through doing it that it was a truly dreadful, narkish way of listening to an album. after a couple of listens, i like the album and feel it could grow a lot.

Trying to listen to the album at work and keep getting interupted. Only heard Radical and Goblin so far. Like them both. I think the albums going to be a long way from the Sandwiches-Yonkers type tunes that people want though.

That first guitar chord of Goblin sounds like it's going to be the feel good hit of the summer

Heard it twice, my expectations are probably way way too high & I'll need some time to lower them in my head but the needledrop just did a review of it & he's summed up what I've been thinking pretty much so far. Though I'd score it higher right now he's pretty much spot on with alot of what he mentions about the lyric themes, the length & the beats.

Not commenting anymore until I've become more familiar with everything but for now, that bald mother fucker has nailed pretty much what I'm thinking with the first 2 thirds of his review.

I did the same, put both Rifles records on, not heard them in ages. Fucking flew round work was fast as I could so I could have a rest when I got in but in doing so have just knackered myself out I would of been better strolling around in the sun and just getting home now.

i agree with quite a few bits of that, tylers mates (bar the much-missed Earl, who is by far the most naturally talented MC) let the album down and tyler himself has been too influenced by rubbish-era paranoid eminem (the "fuck bill o reilly" bit made me cringe hard).

but i think he is too harsh on the production, the first half especially is full of interesting touches and all the way up to sandwitches, i love the album. the next 4 songs really stall proceeding i reckon, before it picks up with the last 2.

album is good, way too long tho
tyler needs a good editor
