FFS ITS ABOUT DISCRIMINATION not male and female urges (women contribute in that thread as much as we do)
Its about saying (in a non tongue in cheek manner) that someone can't do a job that is clearly gender neutral purely because of their gender, And i'm angry because its exactly the same as racism.

Again great argument, make it about me, good one Jumping on the bandwagon? You either think its dispicable or not, personally i don't see how anyone can see it as lesser than what Big Ron did You made the thread and the god thread and the Edward Woolard thread and the black manager thread and took the moral highground throughout. Everyone's jumped onboard (not your fault) and it's rediculous that's got to the point where it's 'vile'. Was anyone calling the Madeline jokes 'vile'? This forum has no conscious. Everyone's full of shit.

I didn't comment on the Edward Woolard thread, not once. The God thread i'm giving my view no one agreed with me (It wasn't a moral highground issue it was one of seeing things in a different perspective). I'm giving my view in this thread, thankfully quite a few people agree with me cause they are consistent, they didn't give Big Ron benefit of any doubt.
why the fuck are you even bringing me into this, this has nothing to do with me. Pathetic.

Last post on the matter because I'm already repeating myself but the last week has bugged me so I've got to say my bit.
All your posts and threads in the named threads have had a theme of right versus wrong.
You've made your name talking up things on here that are deemed socially wrong.
You then call someone 'vile' for doing things on a par with what you have done.
That to me is bollox.
Same goes for those who have previously patted you on the back and anyone else who has contributed to the irreverent humour on here who suddenly has a strong conscious.

Good riddance to you
I didn't call them vile, I said the tone of the 'banter' was vile it was a vile tone and therefore not banter in my eyes
The fire extinguisher thread was just philosophical interest for me, to see if people believed in 'moral luck', how important people see the difference between what could have happened and what did happen.

ok, now they're gone, who'd make good replacements?
i'd like to see marcotti in gray's role. he really knows his stuff, is very articulate and stands his ground very well. it's a joy to hear him on 606 putting the mouth-breathers in their place who think they can merk him just cos he has an american accent.

It's weird that the original comment, backwards as it was, causes so much outrage yet we allow other men to force women to wear ninja outfits if they go outside.
it's a funny old world.

No, we allow women to wear whatever clothing they like when they leave the house. You believe that? It's amazing coincidence that the only women who 'want' to wear these ninja outfits belong to a backwards, sexist religion/cult isn't it? You can not be being intellectually serious if you are making that claim. It's preposterous. You think these women would be allowed to not wear their capes? I don't.

You can not be being intellectually serious if you are making that claim. It's preposterous. You think these women would be allowed to not wear their capes? I don't. We live in a country where women can wear what they like. Unlike you, I'm not so intellectually feeble as to group all Muslim women as having the same opinions. I think there are definitely some that don't want to wear it and do so out of oppression, but equally I think there's some that believe modesty is a crucial part of being a good Muslim woman and so are more than happy to wear it. The majority of Muslim women in this country DON'T wear the full veil - most have headscarves but that's hardly an issue. It's already only a small group that wear the full burqa so most Muslim women would and are allowed to not wear it. Out of that small group, I think some of them do certainly do so out of fear of their husbands. But that isn't symptomatic of an entire religion, especially when we're talking in relation to this country.

definitely been a witchhunt against em the last few days with these leaked clips. personally thought a short suspension and on air apology would have been acceptable. ;D but nevermind. i do think they'd over stayed the welcome a bit. it needed a shake up. i like the guy who presents the spanish football. ;D gray don't really need replacing tbh. they've got alan smith anyway. redknapp in the studio. on second thoughts maybe they do.

Nice post from krburg. Out of interest who in this thread subscribes to Sky Sports, and how do you feel about funding their coverage, and more importantly their football agenda?

I can imagine him in a flat cap and wearing tweed to prove he's a proper Englishman. I actually wear a flat cap and have a rather fetching tweed blazer to boot, proper Englishman me. Listen I don't think anyone is in agreement with the remarks regarding the female linesman, they are just stupid and archaic opinions, and both Keys and Gray are fucking idiots and i'm not arsed either way that they have gone. However, chatting amongst friends at work, people who they have worked with for years and who they trust, about stupid banter, off screen, obviously well before any game has started is a different matter and my point stands, like any of us hasn't sat around with mates and said something along the lines of 'did you smash it?', who cares if they are in the media, they were stitched up, what are they supposed to not talk like normal when they're off camera, the minute the turn up at a ground they must be 'on', thats just bollocks and unrealistic. Sky Sports are massive fucking hypocrites, a corporation that promotes, more than any other, a laddish, chauvinistic mindset what with its harem of easy on the eye girls glamming up sky sports news and Soccer Am and Soccer Saturdays 'weeeaaahhh laaaaddss' approach, then lambasts two of its long term employees for acting exactly like that in environments where its clearly promoted, reeks of hypocrisy. I'm not a fan of Gray in particular and Keys has always been a deflated flan so i'm not arsed that they have gone, but they have been royally stitched up by a corporation and a media that one minute wants the Sex & The City and Loose Woman generation to rule with woman empowering themselves by acting like blokes and the next minute condemn blokes for playing up to it. colossal post.
