Who's they? I'm the only one to say it and as someones who's been into the band for 13-14 years and just said he cared more about, and wanted more of, their humour than the melt story of the break up, I'm pretty sure I don't fit into your fanboi steretype. To be fair, i thought there was too much about "the incident" and not much about the music they're about to release. Yeah, there was, no doubt, but I can understand that, this one time. It's a significant story that we know surprisingly little about. |

I suggest you read the article before you get back to me Not sure if you were talking to me here, but the "they" I was referring to was the band themselves. (Can't remember if it was Gem or Andy who had the line about "Liam and Noel on the cover with mistletoe", or whatever it was.) They have to expect that the majority of questions are *initially* going to be about the split, even if they put out an album on par with Rubber Soul or quadrophenia. |

Q is shite and has been for a good few years. I'm not going to bother reading any reviews (except the Hehe's cos that was delghtful) so I listen to the album with an open mind and not with some predisposed idea it's going to be "the most positive since Morning Glory"

Yeah, after reading that, it seems like both of them (especially Gem) are stuck between a rock and a hard place. They just basically said Liam's great right now and a lot of what Noel (or Noel's people) said is not true.

I thought they came over fair enuff in that interview. Liam sounds more emotionally upset, rather than wanting to kick Noel's knees out. Actually made me feel a bit sad  I gotta say though, i can't wait for Noel's stuff. Should be a few quality interviews around release time too, knowing that wry auld smudger |

Should be interesting when both albums are out and we can come up with our own tracklistings from the two. From what I've read I am really looking foward to both.
