to be fair konchesky was great in westworld.  he hasnt made a film in ages though.  I made the same joke further up that page. Buzzing about signing Meireles, he's a quality player and a total surprise. I think it's more down to not expecting us to sign anyone of note and the fact that it's pretty much come out of the blue. |

Supposedly Hibs want £4m from Celtic for Stokes Good on Hibs for the hard-ball routine, they seem to be experts in squeezing cash out of players (Brown  ) but surely even Celtic aren't daft enough to pay £4m for Stokes. Would be hilarious if they did. |

Indeed. He's had 2 good seasons in the SPL (on loan at Falkirk from Arsenal 3 years ago, and last season at Hibernian) but he's failed in England everywhere he's been. Shit stats, loads of goals sums him up really as he doesn't seem to do much 89 minutes of a game but chances are he'll pop up with a goal. As decent as he is in this league I'm positive even I could scout someone better for even half of £4million. If the tims do get him he'll do fine in the SPL but I can't see him doing much in Europe... oh wait |

Raul Meireles is a very good player. But I will wait to see if he can handle the physical side of the game in England.
