Benfica sold Ramires to Chelsea for 22 million euros. We couldn`t do too much here as half belongs to a fund... Ramires is a great player, a good guy and will be hard to replace. I wish him the best but I don`t think he`s the right guy for the english game... He would be huge in Italy IMO.

Not a rumour but... Newcastle midfielder Joey Barton has grown a moustache in an attempt to help build team spirit at St James Park for the coming season.

Lets hope he does go back to Leeds! No chance though, his wages are far too high.

Miralem Sulejmani, our most expensive signing ever, on a 1-year loan to West Ham United.

Alan Smith would not be welcome at Elland Road and I think Grayson would know that would be very unpopular

apparently Arsenal have had bids rejected by Liverpool for Pepe Reina, they made at least one bid of around £23m
cunts better stay away from our Pepe, he's more scouse than Gerrard and Carragher.

I highly doubt he would leave so it's not even a concern.

the reina situation is a complete non-story. apart from all the other reasons he wouldn´t join (wenger spending 25m on a keeper, wenger spending 25m, liverpool selling a great keeper to rivals etc etc) the cunt was the one whoring fabregas to barcelona in the spanish world cup celebrations

Except Torres was on holiday while the press invented loads of stories about him definitely leaving without speaking to the press once and the first day he was back at Melwood he made a statement saying he was definitely staying. Fabregas spoke to the press a few times about Barcelona.

how have you felt about the fabregas saga baz? it was like the torres saga x10000000000 must have been awful for gooner fans. barcelona are the greatest football team of a generation but they are also a pack of disrespectful cunts to a man (bar guardiola, who has been very dignified about it all). xavi in particular always fucking gabbing on about ´cesc´s barca dna´. FUCK OFF YOU SHITEHAWK. it´s disgusting. i actually think fabregas has handled it well. it´s clear he wants to join barca and he has always been honest about it and i know that he will play his guts out for arsenal until he joins them. and not for a paltry 30m for the best young midfielder in the world (you could drop the ´young´ actually). he is at least 50m, at the very very least. especially with 5 years left on his contract. fuck off and die you sanctimonious cunts barcelona, fucking pricks

Barcelona are ready to launch a bid for Werder Bremen midfielder Mesut Ozil.
Both Sport and El Mundo Deportivo say Barca are turning to the Germany World Cup star after Cesc Fabregas publicly declared his commitment to Arsenal on Friday.
Despite rival interest from Manchester United and Real Madrid, Barca are convinced Ozil wants a move to the Nou Camp. The midfielder, who recently holidayed in the region, declared: "I've been a fan of Barcelona since childhood.
"I cannot describe exactly what it is but there is something that I love about the team. They've always had the best players like a few years ago when Figo and Rivaldo played together and now there is Messi."

Newcastle United Football Club expect to land Hatem Ben Arfa this week.
The France international helped Marseille win Ligue 1 last season, but he is unsettled at Didier Deschamps club and is set to move on this summer.
Chris Hughton is eager to land the forward as he prepares his Magpies squad for their Premier League return, and the player is said to be keen on a move to England.
It is believed the United boss is already some way down the line in agreeing a loan move for Ben Arfa, 23, who was linked with Manchester United earlier this summer.
Hughton has so far added defenders Sol Campbell and James Perch to his squad, and midfielder Dan Gosling, and he hopes to do more business before the window slams shut.

I bloody hope so hehe. It is being widely reported that he is coming here but i won't believe it until he actually signs. It'll be interesting to see where he fits in if we do sign him though. I think everyones expecting us to play a 4-5-1 away from home with fat Nolan playing off Carroll.
I will be gutted if we don't sign another striker though. Ameobi and Best shouldn't be anywhere near a Premiership club. Especially Best, he's fucking woeful. The only bad signing Hughton has made so far bar Pancrate but he was on a free. Personally I still think we need a good quality right back (or play S.Taylor there when fit), a strong altheltic central midfielder and a proven goalscorer at this level at the least.
