I'd only be excited about four of those. A bunch of others I'd catch but it would require much much more for me to want to make the trip.

The Walkmen are fucking terrific live, needs to be said again. If they're playing near you, go! Anyway in regards to Primavera, The Black Angels were just added to the bill, so enjoy. They're also immense. Goin to see them twice in April

Really don't understand the Walkman love. Decent band, decent live but nothing more. See them a few months back and they were hardly anything special.

Battles (US) Caribou (CAN) » Cuzo + Damo Suzuki (SPA/JAP) » Darkstar (UK) » Dean Wareham plays Galaxie 500 (NZL) » Einstürzende Neubauten (GER) » Gold Panda (UK) » Grinderman (UK) » Half Japanese (US) » Islet (UK) » James Blake (UK) » Jamie XX (UK) » John Cale & Band + Orchestra perform PARIS 1919 (UK) » Kode9 And The Space Ape + Kode9 Burial Set (UK) » Matthew Dear Live (US) » Mercury Rev perform Deserter's Songs (US) » Mogwai (UK) » Odd Future (US) » Of Montreal (US) » P.I.L. (Public Image Limited) (UK) » PJ Harvey (UK) » Pulp (UK) » Salem (US) » Sufjan Stevens (US) » Swans (US) » The Black Angels (US) » The Fiery Furnaces (US) » The Flaming Lips (US) » The Walkmen (US) » are the bands I'd like to see. However, I find it really hard to get excited about Primavera (even though I've friends who are going and try to convince me to come along) as it's not really a festival without camping, is it? Pulp are playing melt festival near Berlin, much more delightful

It seems like it's non stop gigging for three days and sleeping in a double bed in a private en-suite air con'd room
What's not to get excited about?
