Female Eavis has confirmed 13 more acts: - Anna Calvi - BB King - Big Boi - The Chemical Brothers - Crystal Castles (pictured) - Friendly Fires - Fleet Foxes - Gruff Rhys - James Blake - Janelle Monae - Mumford & Sons - Primal Scream - Warpaint Not bad. Not an exciting line up yet but Scream and Gruff will be good. Scream will be the bollocks especially if they are doing Screamadelica. Chemical Brothers will do nicely if theres nothing better on any of the other stages.

Wow I didn't realise the Scream were headlining the other stage. That will be fucking epic.
For the first time the festival will be offering sweeteners to revellers who cut their carbon footprint. People getting public transport to the event will be given access to solar-powered showers, compost toilets and discounts from food stalls.
Discounts form food stalls? Bet thats a load of bollocks. Probably one stool in some field nobody will ever see.

Karl, I know you're not a huge fan but if there is nothing else going on, go and see Janelle Monae, saw her again the other night, it was brilliant, a proper 'show' and performance, well worth checking out.

It was probably a bit too overly ambitious for it's own good. She drifted in & out of different styles yet never once I felt had one that sounded her own. Be interested to hear her next record to see if she progresses but that was one that I really couldn't understand the hype about.
Also Kev. Did you SIT DOWN ON THE FLOOR LIKE A GREAT BIG CUNT when she asked everybody to? I've wiped my cum all over that dancefloor in the past, I bet it's all over your jeans now you cunt.

YEAH MAN, I WAS DOWN ON THAT FLOOR LIKE CHRISTIANO RONALDO IN THE BOX!!
Funnily, I adored the record for the exact same reasons that Karl didn't like it, I loved the meandering in and out of different styles and mostly the fact that she seemed to lend herself to the songs, rather than her style dictating the songs, also I found with repeated listens that as the album is suites 2&3 of a four suite set, that it worked as almost a side one and side two or a double album, with the more straightforward and upbeat songs on the first 10 ir 11 tracks, representing side one and the more weirder and experimental stuff at the end being side two, and just having that distinction in mind, helped me digest it better as a whole, if that makes sense.
I'm keen to see where she goes, I get a feeling the next album will tread similar ground, but its going to be the final chapter of the set so maybe it'll be a bit shorter and streamlined.
But, I think as partial listeners, if there was maybe nothing else going on at a festival, her live show would be a decent time waster for the casual fan, she puts on a rather good performance.

There's no money in Glasto. They won't come here just for the festival, bound to be other gigs.

"BDI certainly wouldn't be fucking Glastonbury, because it's a shithole. They ought to put all that fucking money they make and buy a decent fucking sound system."

What are you on about?
Glastonbury's sound system is the worst of the major festivals by a mile.
