Was meant to have been seeing them yesterday at the Laneway Festival (along with Yeasayer and a whole bunch of other acts). Gave it a miss on account of the weather.

I quite liked the Halcyon Digest, I'd not heard anything by them prior to that.
Coronado is a top tune, I even don't mind the SAX (hope Kev doesn't see this) I also like Fountain Stairs & Desire Lines from the record. The rest is all pretty decent but those three are standouts.

big fan of deerhunter but still feel as if halcyon digest is to full click with me.
microcastle and cryptograms were both great though, but overall i slightly prefer bradfords solo project - atlas sound

Rumor is Pulp, Deerhunter and Animal Collecting headlining Pitchfork. Should be outstanding. Back to Deerhunter quite enjoy Microcastle. I find Crypotgrams to be a bit hit or miss. Atlas Sound is ok. I prefer the first album however Walkabout with Noah Lennox is outstanding on the second album...
