I don't think the line up is that bad considering the lack of interesting mainstream indie bands at the minute but I still can't be arsed with it.
The crowd at Chelmsford should be highly amusing though if Eminem and Plan B pull in their crowds.

People who go V like Plan B. I went last year and he was on at like 5pm I think. How does he justify such a high spot now? Bet he doesnt get such a high place at any other festival. Its got nothing to do with people liking him, its the fact he's 2nd from top. They could have easily got someone bigger than Plan B to go in that spot and still fitted Plan B in lower down if they wanted. They've gone to save pennies though, probably to pay Eminem and Rihannas huge fee's. |

Camping is 100% shit and a massive pain in the arse.
I had some good years camping at V and Glasto when I was too young and fuckt too care but after this years Glastonbury I probably won't bother again. It's just too much hassle and you're surrounded by complete idiots.
Clubbing is even worse tbh, just a room full of insecure people who are only comfortable in each others company listening to really shit music. Not sure if Axe means VK Blues on the dance floor Clubbing Clubbing or off your nut on MDMA Raving Clubbing. It applies to both but the latter would probably still interest me if a few of my mates who were heavily into it hadn't gone travelling.

fuck that mate, can't be arsed with getting there a day early just to get a spot and carrying around all the shit you need! I also hate waking up with a shitty hangover, sweating my tits off cos the suns come out and then not being able to get a shower and that. After getting smashed on saturday, i can have a nice shower and that sunday moring, be all refreshed and get back on it! i got sunburnt at donnington.  got kept awake by a load of metal heads in the tents just across from us. playing slayer and metallica until fucking half 5. hotel room ftw. ;D |
