I'd lick Noel's left ball for an album with songs like Solve my mystery, Record Machine and Stop the clocks properly produced. Yeah, totally. Solve My Mystery was shelved coz of Tender by Blur. Imagine it with a gospel choirs, huge drums and an orchestra. Already a classic in my head. |

ffs, I think its an even worse album now. LoL @ Liam comparing Different Gear Still Speeding, to Definitely Maybe. What a plonker. used to love when he'd say that in the past about oasis albums, as it was all part of the charm of the oasis cannon, for me anyway. but this is just terrible. awful awful album. I've tried to listen to it again today for about the 9th time, could only get up to wind up dream. Then had to turn it off. Album is a completely directionless wishy washy mess. If I were to call this an oasis album without any craft, that would be a complete insult to almost everything that is Oasis. Why on earth are people talking about solve my mystery? Sometimes I honestly think people forget that noel wrote Live Forever, and amongst his later classics, Waiting For The Rapture etc. The people who first mentioned Solve My Mystery in that thread are those who love it, isn't it. It goes without saying that Noel wrote Live Forever, Axl. That's why we don't have threads about it. |
