Noel won't be able to top this. Jesus I'm dreading his attempt already.... . Song with the tomorow never knows drums? Check . A vaguely "mystical" song which stays on one chord for ages? Check . And probably a song about being stuck On a beach making a boat out of bamboo that sinks With a bit of luck the real people might write a few good ones for him tho

Noel won't be able to top this. On a beach making a boat out of bamboo that sinks & the one with Paul Weller on guitar, which Noel clearly hasn't wrote.

Count me in, guys. I'm loving this.
I don't get how people can love FLW and dislike SOTEOTN; I think both tracks play in the same league. I'll grant that FLW is naughtier but I like both tracks. Three Ring Circus, didn't really care for the clip but that chorus is catchy as hell.
Milionaire: lovely The Roller: great Wind up dream: I don't care much for it but it works Bring the light: love it For Anyone: sweet Kill for a dream: I feel like Andy about this one. Wigwam: great but too long The Beat Goes On: great The Morning Son: good

Noel will probably make a great acoustic folk record, with some gospel choirs and stuff.

If he's got the Sand Band guy involved he should just pack up now and stick to being a celebrity tbh unless he's gonna get The Sandman on drums or something. Gonna be melt without him. He should stick to being a C list celebrity ;D

I know nothing about no cockney mafia, officer.
Anyway, if FLW is Andy's do we still reckon it's about Noel?

Well, even if he's got not more new songs, a record with Solve my mystery, Record Machine cant be all bad. And if that Come on its alright is as good as he thought it is, then we're on for a real treat.
It's a great time to be a gallagher fan, we get twice as much material as before, and they're fighting for the crown, so its only good for us

Solve my mystery, Record Machine cant be all bad absolute worst case scenario for noel's album imo. more songs like falling down and part of the queue and i'll be happier, anything more like the chemical bros falling down mix and i'll be happier still.

I'd lick Noel's left ball for an album with songs like Solve my mystery, Record Machine and Stop the clocks properly produced.

First impressions on this then. Enjoying the first half of the album more at the moment but I get the feeling that the second half is a definite grower. Loving 'For Anyone', which probably makes me a great big gaybo but I don't care, it shits on 'She Is Love'. 'Beatles and Stones' has really grown on me from the first time I heard it, the beginning reminds me of 'Tell Me, Momma' by Dylan. Not really feeling 'Kill For A Dream' in the slightest, or 'The Morning Son'. 'Four Letter Word' keeps with the epic album openers from the Oasis days and 'Millionaire' is a top tune too. Need a few more listens for a full opinion on the second half tracks really but for the moment they're not exciting me as much as I'd hoped.
Think I'll give giving it a rating a miss until tomorrow or later tonight.
