Id go 7/10 on first few spins. Pretty impressed. The good definitely outweighs the bad. I doubt it'll be in my top 5 at the end of the year, but it should be fucking awesome live.

yeah 7/10 is very fair.
one of main gripes is with liam songwriting. sans wigwam and the morning too many songs have that love like a bomb, pass me down the wine, or songbird vibe. which is great since they are pretty decent songs in their own respect but enough is enough. he can obviously write some pretty psychedelic stuff with the help of the other members so why not do that.

After three listens, 7/10 for me as well. Half of the album have either top or decent tunes, and the rest to me are pretty unforgettable. Maybe some of these tracks will grown on me later.

Listened to Wigwam, Edge of Noise and Morning Son so far.
Fucking amazing.
Dicking all over DOYS.
Had to run for my train after burning it at short notice.
Proper big.

I really like the verses of Kill For A Dream, but I dont like the chorus at all and the na na na na's are fucking lazy Yeah, I'm amazed how I can go from absolutely LOVING that tune one minute to wanting to switch it off the next. Still, the good outweighs the bad (both on the song and the album). It's funny how even though I'm no longer the huge Oasis fan I was back in the day, there's still no band (or band members I guess) that can get me excited about music like they can. Always makes me feel like a kid again.

very nice album......I really like the production, makes even the weaker tracks decent.
Still a shame the better songs werent meant for a new oasis album, combined with the best Noel songs.. I really believe that Liam wasnt the only one holded back by Noel ('s presence), but the others too
anyway it sounds familiar and fresh at the same time
and Liams voice is great overall
